We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to assist with the movement and organization of materials within our busy warehouse. This role is integral to our daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Your commitment to adhering to Safety protocols and your ability to perform physically demanding tasks will be crucial. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Stack and arrange materials securely and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Strictly follow all company Safety regulations and use appropriate PPE .
- Assist with inventory checks and stock organization.
- Support the efficiency of our Logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Certification in operating forklift or other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Strong emphasis on workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Understanding of basic Logistics concepts is beneficial.
