The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing all incoming and outgoing stock. Accuracy, meticulous record-keeping, and a keen eye for detail are critical for success in this position. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to resolve discrepancies, conduct cycle counts, and implement inventory control best practices. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor stock levels and report low/overstock situations.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in WMS or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
