In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
