This role is vital to our logistics network, ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurately processed, packaged, and dispatched. Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify shipping addresses and order details to ensure correct delivery.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet wrappers and label printers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Ensure all shipments comply with company and carrier regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, following all safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE while performing duties.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and online portals is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
