You will be tasked with maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies to identify and resolve root causes. Your efforts will directly support efficient logistics operations, minimize stockouts, and prevent inventory loss. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management principles. You will work with our warehouse management system (WMS) to track stock movements, reconcile inventory data, and generate reports. While some physical activity may be involved, including occasional Lifting, the primary focus is on data accuracy and process optimization. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on aging or slow-moving inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate stock movements.
- Ensure the proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control strategies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE as needed.
