We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our distribution center team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory within our warehouse. This role is crucial for our logistics operations, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to maintain a smooth workflow and a safe working environment. Adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating various types of forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. This position involves frequent machine operation and requires the ability to perform moderate Lifting when needed. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize inventory within the warehouse for optimal space utilization.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and reflective vests.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and location.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as required.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Participate in ongoing Safety training.
- Perform moderate Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed.
