Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments with precision.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and system updates.
- Operate various material handling equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and free from hazards.
- Comply with all company policies and safety standards, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Ability to handle lifting of various items, often up to 50 pounds.
- Support the logistics team with operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence in logistics.
