We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Denver, Colorado. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently selecting items to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory using order sheets, RF scanners, or other devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure order accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse and logistics safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
- Wear all required PPE and follow safety guidelines diligently, especially regarding lifting and moving of goods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or logistics role is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Awareness of warehouse safety regulations and the critical importance of using PPE.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional overtime.
