We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to become an integral part of our Milwaukee, Wisconsin logistics team. In this essential role, you will manage the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming inventory, inspecting goods, and preparing outgoing shipments. A solid understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are critical. You will operate material handling equipment and must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical agility and the capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will be a key player in our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments. Comprehensive training on equipment and safety procedures will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately document and record all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Store received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Shipping & Receiving Associate or in a similar warehouse role. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to following safety guidelines and utilizing PPE.
