Join our team in Richmond, Virginia, as a Picker/Packer! This role is vital to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their correct orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and then carefully packing them for shipment. Attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This position involves a significant amount of physical activity, including walking, bending, and Lifting. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, selecting suitable packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse Logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics operations.
- Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
