Join our dedicated team as a Forklift Operator in St. Louis, Missouri! We are looking for experienced and certified operators to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within our **logistics** facility. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack goods. A strong commitment to **safety** and adherence to all **PPE** requirements are non-negotiable. This role is vital to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations and involves handling various materials, including **Lifting**.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and **safety**.
- Transport goods from receiving areas to storage locations, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Follow all **logistics** operational procedures and **safety** guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Strictly adhere to **PPE** policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Previous experience in a **logistics** or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of **safety** procedures for operating forklifts.
- Ability to **Lifting** and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing required **PPE**.
