We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for our facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and organizing all incoming goods. Your diligence ensures the integrity of our inventory and the smooth flow of **logistics**. A strong emphasis is placed on **safety** protocols and the correct utilization of **PPE**. This position requires the ability to handle various materials and potentially perform moderate **Lifting**.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Accurately record all incoming inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Tag and label received items for proper storage.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to **safety** standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all **PPE** requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of **logistics** and inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of **safety** procedures relevant to receiving operations.
- Ability to **Lifting** and moving items up to 30 pounds.
- Commitment to wearing required **PPE**.
