Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona! This role is vital to the smooth operation of our warehouse and the broader logistics network. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes receiving, staging, and transporting goods to their designated areas, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and readily available for production or shipping. Your ability to operate material handling equipment and follow strict Safety procedures will be paramount. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess strong attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, using forklifts and pallet jacks, organizing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. You will also be involved in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This physically demanding role requires significant stamina, including frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and substantial Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to Safety guidelines.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to wearing and using PPE correctly.
