Our growing logistics company is seeking an organized and efficient Warehouse Associate in Austin, Texas. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate processing of goods within our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining the overall organization of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receiving, identifying, and storing incoming stock.
- Accurately picking items for outgoing orders.
- Packing merchandise securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Strict adherence to all Safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with shipping documentation and manifest preparation.
- Collaborating effectively with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and basic computer systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive approach to Safety and workplace protocols.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
