As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Place picked items in designated containers or on pallets for transport to packing stations.
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining organization in picking areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse safety rules.
- Follow all company policies, including those related to PPE usage.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to overall team goals for efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics processes is helpful.
