Job Title: Border Patrol Agent - Experienced (GL9 / GS11)

Overview:

• The United States Border Patrol is hiring for experienced law enforcement officers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.


• Analyze tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.


• Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks as part of a comprehensive security strategy.
