Job Title: Border Patrol Agent

• Safeguarding America's borders by detaining and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.


• , Preventing illegal entry through surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and communications equipment.


• Detecting tracks, marks, or other evidence of human smuggling attempts while performing patrol duties in designated areas along the border.

• You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you have specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This includes tasks like law enforcement officer roles with responsibilities including arrest-making authority as a state or government-enforced official.
