Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Mathematics Teacher for our on-site location in Toronto, ON. The teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging math lessons tailored to individual student needs. This role requires lesson planning, assessing student performance, and adapting teaching strategies to diverse learning styles. The teacher will actively contribute to curriculum development, collaborate with other staff members, and foster a supportive academic environment where students can confidently build their skills in mathematics.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
  • Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certifications and expertise in working with diverse learning needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a team-oriented environment
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with IEPs and students with learning differences is a strong asset
