Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing complex accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced accounting software and tools to maintain the integrity of our financial data.

Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data.
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems.
  • Conduct auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze account transactions for discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support payroll processing and related reporting functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial services projects and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations in all accounting practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within a corporate finance environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including account analysis and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems like Oracle or SAP is highly desirable.
  • Previous work experience in public practice firm in Korea is an asset
  • Previous work experience in Korean large corporation is an asset.
  • Use of IFRS 15 and 16
  • Bilingual in Korean and English
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This position is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization through precise accounting practices and strategic financial analysis. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $61,023.80-$92,997.14 per year
