Property Maintenance / Junior Property Manager

to join our growing team, must be based in Cochrane, Alberta.

This is a hands-on role with significant long-term growth opportunity into senior property management and asset operations leadership.

About the Role

This position combines Property
maintenance, Tenant relations, light handyman work, cleaning oversight, and basic property operations support

. You'll play a key role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained, tenant-ready, and professionally managed.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform general handyman duties (minor plumbing, electrical fixes, drywall repair, painting, fixture replacement)
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests
  • Coordinate larger repairs with external contractors
  • Conduct routine property inspections
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed

Cleaning & Property Turnovers

  • Basic cleaning of vacant units when required
  • Oversee professional cleaners during turnovers
  • Prepare units for new tenant occupancy
  • Maintain common areas to high standards

Property Operations & Tenant Communications

  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs
  • Extensive Tenant Communications & Resolution of ongoing issues onsite, etc.

IT -

computer skills & effective email/spreadsheets mandatory

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years maintenance, handyman, or property experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, etc
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Comfortable using technology and digital tools
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
