Omventure Mississauga is seeking a passionate and energetic part-time Supervisor to join our management team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Supervisor will support all aspects of store management, including training, customer service, visual merchandising, and overall store operations. They will lead the team with a focus on delivering top-tier customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Inspire the team to work toward a shared vision and purpose. Oversee daily store operations, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
- Operational Excellence: Uphold high standards in customer service, store presentation, and business operations. Set goals for the team, foster a collaborative environment, and lead by example.
- Integrity & Values: Manage with honesty, integrity, and a commitment to promoting Omventure Canada's culture, values, and mission.
Business Responsibilities:
- Proactive Business Development: Take initiative to drive business growth, aligning store operations with company objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Actively seek customer feedback to understand and meet community needs.
- Revenue Growth: Assist in planning and managing promotions and activities to increase store revenue.
- Compliance: Ensure the store meets all health and safety regulations.
Team Development:
- Motivation & Coaching: Keep staff motivated to ensure store success. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Performance Management: Regularly assess Game Masters' performance, set goals, and provide constructive feedback.
General Duties:
- Develop a thorough understanding of Omventure Canada's products and services, including the roles of Game Masters.
- Attend management meetings and complete assigned tasks before deadlines.
- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating new recruits, setting improvement goals as needed.
- Handle reception and administrative tasks, including email correspondence, social media management, and payroll submission.
- Oversee inventory control, reporting or ordering necessary supplies.
- Maintain the store's upkeep, reporting and following up on technical issues and other maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities.
Availability Requirements:
- Must be available to work 2-4 shifts per week, with the possibility of additional shifts during holidays and the summer season.
- Flexible weekend availability is required.
- Must be available to work on holidays.
- A one-year commitment minimum is required.

Application question(s):
- We require all staff to be available for the full hours of operation on Fridays (3:00pm - 11:00pm), Saturdays (12:00pm - 12:00am), and Sundays (12:00pm - 12:00am). This doesn't mean you'll be scheduled all 3 weekend days every week, or for a full 12 hour shift, but you must keep this availability open. Please note that maintaining full weekend availability is a condition of employment. Are you fully available during these weekend hours?
