What you'll be doing
York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Alberta, and Ottawa.
We are looking for a Lego Robotics Teaching Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and helping introduce and teach kids about Lego Robotics.
The Lego Robotics Teaching Assistant Is Responsible For:
Building excitement surrounding Lego Robotics in kids aged 4-13
Having knowledge and previous experience in Lego Robotics
Working alongside (Summer Camp Volunteers, March Break Volunteers, Weekend Camp Volunteers, etc)
Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone
Arriving on time
Location: th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K5

Who We're Looking For:
Minimum age: 12
Able to independently arrive to work on time
Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
Can commit to scheduled time of event
Fluency in English
Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
Bonus Skills:
Previous experience in event planning and coordinating
Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English considered an asset
