Job Summary
The Field Equipment Operator (Internal title: Building & Facilities Specialist) provides support to a variety departments when it comes to building and facilities up keep. They will be required to support the Fenwick and Cayuga location based on business demands.
Day Shift
Main Duties
- Milling
- Assisting with ACMPR destruction methods using farm tractor and manual labour
- Small construction projects
- Landscaping duties including maintenance of foilage, grass and gardens
- General maintenance of equipment, Pil changes and other fixes
- Unloading trucks and shipments with wheel loader/tractor/skid steer
- Possible deliveries with Hino
- Inventory support as necessary – month, quarter and year end counts
- Availability to work weekend if necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual labour
- Operate vehicles like tractors, trailers, forklifts, HINO, or other machinery designed to aid in the transport of heavy materials
- Experience in warehouse work
Working Conditions:
- Repetitive tasks
- Sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Handling heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
- Operating large machinery in a safe manner
- Hand-eye coordination
- Working indoor/outdoor year-round in all temperatures
