We are seeking a skilled individual to fill a (Hybrid) position at our client's Surrey Main office. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize specialized knowledge to analyze urban water, sanitary, and drainage systems, as well as conduct data management, model setup and calibration, and system assessment.
  • Facilitate the development of Infrastructure servicing plans for neighborhoods and city-wide areas, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Employ hydrological and hydraulic modeling techniques to support the development of Integrated Stormwater Management Plans and Flood Management Plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to design rainwater source control LID concepts.
  • Conduct technical analysis related to civil engineering design, including municipal water, sanitary sewer, drainage conveyance works, and hydraulic structures.
  • Prepare detailed construction cost estimates, implementation plans, and operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Produce clear and concise technical memorandums and reports for both internal and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience are required.
  • Eligibility for professional licensure (P.Eng.) with EGBC is necessary.
  • A demonstrated track record of hydrological and hydraulic analysis and modeling, infrastructure master planning, and flood management planning is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, and other computer programs is required.
  • Familiarity with project management and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
