The Senior Systems Administrator & Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring Marcon's technology environment is secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of a growing, vertically integrated real estate organization. This position combines strong infrastructure expertise with business analysis capability to support both construction and corporate teams.
Reporting to the Director of IT, this role leads the ongoing optimization of core systems, strengthens cybersecurity controls, and partners with stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.

About the Role:
As a senior member of the IT team, you will:
- Maintain and optimize core IT infrastructure including servers, networking, cloud environments, backups, and disaster recovery
- Lead configuration and administration of Microsoft M365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and related enterprise platforms
- Strengthen cybersecurity monitoring, controls, and risk mitigation practices
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
- Support and enhance systems such as Yardi and Procore to ensure operational alignment
- Contribute to technology initiatives including cloud optimization, integrations, and modernization efforts
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure reliability and value
This role offers meaningful ownership and the opportunity to shape how technology supports a growing real estate development and construction business.
About You:
- 5–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration
- Strong expertise in Microsoft M365, Azure, networking, virtualization, and IT security
- Demonstrated experience performing business analysis and supporting system-enabled process improvements
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to support sites across the Lower Mainland as needed
You are comfortable working independently, applying sound judgment, and leveraging modern digital tools to improve efficiency and performance.

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees' skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Coupled with this base salary, we offer pay-for-performance bonus programs, excellent family health benefits, RSP matching, employee recognition programs and plenty of opportunities to socialize, have fun and build genuine relationships.
