Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean dining area
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in food handling and preparation
• Manage bookings and guest flow effectively
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
• Assist with host/hostess duties when needed to welcome guests and manage waitlists

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems is considered an asset
• Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality
• Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to boost sales and enhance guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures required
• Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or hospitality sector preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
