À propos

Like fixing things, making spaces look sharp, and being the one who gets it sorted? You'll fit in well here.

Good Sorts is growing and we're on the lookout for a skilled, multi-trade Property Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We take care of some of the best buildings in the Okanagan and we take pride in doing things properly. We're not a "send whoever's available" type outfit. We build good teams, we look after our people, and we deliver a high standard for our clients.

If you're someone who takes ownership, enjoys variety in your day, and likes leaving a place better than you found it, keep reading.

What the role looks like

You'll be out on site across our portfolio handling a mix of:

  • General repairs and maintenance
  • Patch and paint work
  • Minor carpentry and finish work
  • Flooring and carpet repairs
  • Fixture swaps and hardware installs
  • Suite turnovers at the end of tenancies
  • Coordinating other trades when the job needs it

Some days you'll be knocking over a list of work orders. Other days you'll be running a small project or helping get a suite turned over and ready for new tenants. No two days are the same.

You'll work alongside our operations team and account executives, and you'll use our systems to track and close out work.

Who we're keen to talk to

We're not just looking for a pair of hands. We're looking for a good sort.

Someone who:

  • Has solid experience in maintenance, carpentry, or a multi trade environment
  • Can problem solve on site and take a practical approach to getting things sorted
  • Takes pride in their work and leaves a tidy, professional finish
  • Is friendly, respectful, and communicates well with clients and tenants
  • Can manage their own day, stay organized, and follow jobs through to completion
  • Is comfortable using a phone or tablet to manage work orders and updates
  • Has a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record

If you've had exposure to building systems like fire panels, mechanical rooms, or pool testing, that's a bonus but not a deal breaker.

What you'll get

  • Competitive hourly rate based on your experience and capability
  • Company vehicle, tools, and materials provided
  • Consistent, year round work with a strong and growing client base
  • A solid operations team and systems that actually support you in the field
  • Opportunities to grow into project coordination or leadership roles as we expand
  • A company that genuinely backs its people and takes pride in what we do
