AZ Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.

Duties

• Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour
