Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service while inspiring your team to achieve excellence in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food handlers, ensuring efficient team management and collaboration
- Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency
- Implement training programs to enhance staff skills in food preparation, service, and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations
- Serve as a leader in the restaurant by fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork
- Collaborate with management on operational strategies to improve overall restaurant performance
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Solid restaurant management experience with knowledge of kitchen operations and food industry standards
- Expertise in food handling, safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to serve as an effective leader who can motivate staff and uphold service excellence
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to lead a talented team while delivering exceptional dining experiences. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
