mobile experience, an AI assistant interface, and a public API documentation site. We need a talented UI/UX designer to own the complete design (discovery, wireframes, and developer-ready design system).
Scope of Work
The selected designer will deliver the following:
1. Discovery & User Research
• Review the full product PRD and ask clarifying questions
• Define user personas: business owners (solo, small team, enterprise), clients/end-users, staff members
• Map user journeys for the 4 key surfaces: Admin Dashboard (the company), Client Booking Portal, marketing site, and the Provider's access.
2. Information Architecture
• Finalize sitemap and navigation structure for all platform surfaces
• Organize the full feature set into logical IA that scales across 4 subscription tiers
3. Wireframes (Low + Mid Fidelity)
• provider: all core pages (calendar, appointments, clients, quotes, invoicing, staff, AI assistant, reports, settings)
• Client Booking Portal: 9-step booking flow, quote request flow, client self-service portal
• Marketing Website: homepage, pricing page, industry landing pages, signup/onboarding flow
Business owner site: What the backend should look like for the company (Us)
• Mobile-responsive wireframes for all key views
• Developer annotations on wireframes (spacing, interaction notes, state variations)
4. Design System & Brand Application
• Create or adapt a brand identity suitable for a professional SaaS platform (color palette, typography,
iconography)
• Build a comprehensive component library: buttons, forms, modals, tables, cards, calendars, notification
styles, badges, tooltips
• Design tokens for spacing, color, and typography — ready for developer implementation
5. High-Fidelity UI Designs
• Pixel-perfect mockups for all screens across all surfaces
• All interactive states: default, hover, active, disabled, loading, empty, error
• AI Assistant chat interface design
• Data visualization designs for reports/analytics dashboards
• Booking page templates — minimum 5 distinct templates for business customization
• Email notification templates (at least 3 key notification types)
6. Prototyping
• Clickable prototype for the core booking flow (client-side)
• Clickable prototype for the admin calendar and appointment management
• Prototype for the onboarding/signup flow
7. Developer Handoff
• All designs exported and organized in Figma (or equivalent) with full component documentation
• Inspect-ready: all spacing, colors, fonts, and assets exported and labeled
• Asset export in SVG/PNG at appropriate resolutions
• Responsive breakpoint specifications (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• Interaction spec document (transitions, animations, micro-interactions)

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with SaaS web applications
• Figma expertise required: auto-layout, variants, component libraries, dev mode
• Strong portfolio showing complex dashboard and data-heavy interface design
• Experience designing multi-step forms and booking/checkout flows
• Proficiency in creating and documenting design systems and component libraries
• Experience with data visualization and analytics dashboard design
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
• Developer handoff experience — you know how to spec designs so devs don't have to guess
• Ability to design for multiple user roles (business owner, staff, client) within the same product
Final Deliverables
All source files in Figma (or equivalent), organized by surface and page type. Exported assets in
SVG/PNG. A complete component library with documented usage guidelines. Annotated
wireframes (low and high fidelity). Clickable prototypes (at minimum 3). Responsive specs for 3
breakpoints. Interaction spec document. All files handed off in a state where the development
team can begin immediately without requiring design clarification.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
