Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Cook located in Vaughan, ON. The Line Cook will prepare and assemble dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include assisting with food prep tasks, monitoring supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines, and collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain efficient operations during service hours.
Qualifications
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and adherence to sanitation standards
Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills for a professional kitchen environment
Ability to follow recipes and plating standards accurately
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role is preferred
Culinary school education or relevant certification is an asset
