About the Role
Burson Canada is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to join our creative team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a mid-level designer who combines exceptional UX/UI expertise with strong visual and brand identity experience. You will help shape digital experiences, lead design execution across platforms, and work closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-impact work that supports both internal and client initiatives.
As a Senior Digital Designer, you will be a key contributor to innovative digital projects, including web interfaces, product prototypes, interactive assets, UX flows, and brand systems, while also bringing strong experience in visual identity (branding, rebranding) and reports/brochures for both digital and print.

What You'll Do
Digital & UX/UI Design
Lead the design and development of digital experiences, including web interfaces, mobile interfaces, and interactive prototypes. Translate user-centered research and insights into clear, intuitive UX flows and visual designs. Ensure strong usability, accessibility, and consistency across digital platforms. Work with developers and digital teams to translate designs into working products. Brand Identity & Visual Systems
Conceptualize and execute brand identity work, including visual systems, logo treatments, typography, and style guidelines. Support brand refresh and rebranding work across digital and print touchpoints. Ensure cohesive visual expression across platforms and campaigns. Reports & Editorial Design
Design high-quality reports, brochures, whitepapers, pitch decks, and editorial layouts with strong visual storytelling. Balance typographic excellence and layout hierarchy for multi-page documents. Collaborate with strategy and content teams to deliver polished, professional assets. Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with creative leads, strategists, account teams, and digital producers to support integrated communications and design solutions. Participate in project planning and estimation, presenting design concepts and rationale to internal teams and stakeholders. Mentor junior designers and support a collaborative, high-performance studio culture. Continuous Improvement
Stay current with UX/UI trends, emerging tools, and digital design practices. Provide insights and recommendations to continuously elevate the design process and output quality. Skills & Qualifications
4–6+ years' experience in digital design, UX/UI, or related roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating outcomes. Must have experience in UX/UI design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interface systems. Strong background in brand identity and visual design, including rebranding projects. Experience designing reports, brochures, and editorial assets for digital and print channels. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent. Strong problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams. Bonus: experience with social media assets and motion/animation tools (After Effects), but not required.
