A Day in the Life of a Fiber Splicer I-Outside Plant Construction
  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing enclosures, splicing, testing and documenting outside plant fiber optic facilities as part of OSP construction projects.
  2. You will perform beginner-to-intermediate operation of fiber fusion splicers, OTDRs and optical light testers to ensure adherence to TDS standards while ensuring accuracy and timely documentation of the final product for project closing.
  3. In this role you will complete fibre splicing tasks while coordinating with OSP construction teams contractors internal teams ensuring project timelines are met with relation new network turn-up activities.
