The Global Business Services (GBS) team helps drive BD forward by seeking out and implementing innovative ways to operate effectively and efficiently. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Customer Master Data Steward for our Quote-to-Cash service line
The Master Data Steward for Quote to Cash (Q2C) Operations is responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality master data that supports the end-to-end Q2C process. This role ensures the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of customer related master data across BD infrastructure, enabling efficient sales, order management, billing, and revenue recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
Master Data Management for Q2C:
- Maintain and govern master data related to customers, pricing, contracts, and billing terms.
- Ensure alignment of master data across CRM, ERP, CPQ, and billing platforms.
- Monitor and resolve data discrepancies that impact quoting, order processing, invoicing, and collections in partnership with CMDO team
Data Governance & Quality:
- Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules specific to Q2C operations.
- Collaborate with Sales, CMDO, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and cleansing of Q2C-related master data to support operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Process Enablement:
- Support Q2C process improvements by identifying data-related bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- Participate in system implementations and upgrades, ensuring master data requirements are met.
- Provide input into automation and workflow enhancements that depend on clean and structured data.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as an in-country liaison between QTC regional teams, commercial teams and technical teams to resolve master data issues.
- Train and support end-users on data entry standards and Q2C data governance policies.
- Facilitate cross-functional data stewardship meetings focused on Q2C data domains.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in data stewardship or Q2C operations, preferably in a global or enterprise environment.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of the Quote to Cash lifecycle and its data dependencies.
- Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CPQ tools, order management and billing systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient German, Polish and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and revenue recognition standards.
- Certification in data management or Q2C-related platforms (e.g., Salesforce Admin, SAP Master Data).
- Lean Six Sigma qualification desirable
