Join Our Team at Prima Montessori & Day Nursery! Position: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round
Salary: £27,060.80
Located on Capstone Road in Gillingham, Prima Montessori Nursery is nestled within the Elm Court Estate, offering ample onsite parking for families. Rated “Good” by Ofsted, we embrace a Montessori-inspired approach to childcare, harmonizing with the Early Years Foundation Stage national curriculum. Our goal? To nurture each child’s independence, curiosity, and natural love of learning!
Our nursery features eight spacious rooms, including a newly refurbished baby room, all designed to create calm, purposeful environments where children can explore freely. With two separate gardens for under-twos and over-twos, we provide age-appropriate outdoor spaces that enrich children’s learning and development.

In this fulfilling role, you will:
- Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child’s unique learning and development needs.
- Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
- Follow risk assessments diligently and report health and safety matters to management.
- Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need:- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English - essential.
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - desirable.
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
