Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round

Salary: £27,060.80

Located on Capstone Road in Gillingham, Prima Montessori Nursery is nestled within the Elm Court Estate, offering ample onsite parking for families. Rated “Good” by Ofsted, we embrace a Montessori-inspired approach to childcare, harmonizing with the Early Years Foundation Stage national curriculum. Our goal? Our nursery features eight spacious rooms, including a newly refurbished baby room, all designed to create calm, purposeful environments where children can explore freely. In this fulfilling role, you will:

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child’s unique learning and development needs.
• Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report health and safety matters to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English - essential.
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - desirable.
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
