Border Patrol Agent Job Overview

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at international borders, airports, seaports or land border crossing points.
• Interpreting tracks, signs and physical evidence to identify illegal entry methods.
• The Border Patrol agent will be required to patrol coastal waterways using vessels like boats. The agents must also conduct farm checks building checks traffic city patrols transportation etc., by foot on horseback in vehicles snowmobiles motorcycles as per operational requirements.
