Contract: Full-Time, Permanent - 35 hours per week
Salary: Relevant apprentice rates

What We Are Looking ForAre you ready to kickstart your career in finance? We are on the lookout for a motivated Sales Ledger and Billing Apprentice to join our Finance Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards your AAT qualification, with full study support provided!
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Ledger and Billing Apprentice, you will be trained to support our team with a variety of tasks, including:
- Ensuring timely payment collections through effective communication with customers
- Contacting local authorities for updates on outstanding invoices (with guidance)
- Assisting in raising invoices and credit notes via automated systems and manual postings
- Posting payments received onto the finance system
- Updating records to track payment due dates
- Supporting the team in reducing overdue debt
- Maintaining accurate sales ledger records
- Resolving customer queries via phone and email
- Creating manual invoices for additional services
- Keeping organized notes and records for audit requirements
- Working to deadlines and adapting to the needs of the finance team
We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and experience:
- GCSE qualifications are essential
- Basic knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite, including Excel
- Experience in a finance function within a large organization is a plus
