The Leasing Advisor plays a key role at our residential rental communities. With a strong emphasis on driving lease execution, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless renter experience and delivering exceptional customer service. You will conduct tours of our homes, while highlighting the property's features. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will contribute to executing a leasing strategy and delivering exceptional results in our rental communities.

About the role:
- Represent the Marcon and Mera brands as the first and last interaction with guests visiting our rental communities
- Perform tours with prospective residents with the goal of converting prospects to applicants
- Assist prospective residents through the application process ensuring full knowledge of the process and requirements
- Maintain the appointment schedule
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospects to drive leasing velocity in line with strategic goals
- Ensure that the property's lead management software processes and procedures are being met for prospect follow-up, new resident workflow, and resident lease execution.
- Ensure consistent communication with inbound leasing inquiries through multiple methods (instant messaging, emails, phone calls, texts, etc.) in a timely manner
- Assist with processing tenant applications as needed
- Follow up on outstanding deposits as needed
- Provide customer and market insights and assist with ongoing reporting as determined by management
- Assist in keeping unit availability up to date and accurate
- Ensure our homes and leasing gallery maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation by identifying and reporting any deficiencies
- Comply with regulations as contained in the Residential Tenancy Act
- Assist with ad-hoc communication and relationship management as needed
About you:
- 2+ years' experience in high-volume residential leasing
- Proficiency with Yardi, CRM Flex or equivalent CRM systems is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) is essential
- Team player attitude
- A post-secondary education is preferred but not required
- Good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Fluency in a second language is an asset but not required
- A valid driver's license and a vehicle, to facilitate visits to and from Marcon's different sites across the Lower Mainland are preferred
- Ability to work weekends
- Exceptional work ethic and a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Problem solver with effective negotiation skills
- Highly organized and adaptable: excels in fast-paced, collaborative environments, enjoys teamwork, and communicates effectively
- Independent problem-solver and process-focused: reliable, supports others, handles multiple tasks efficiently, improves processes, and maintains high standards

The compensation for this role is $30 per hour plus commission on each fully executed lease.
