Must Have
10+ years of experience in strategic planning and technology delivery.
Strong technology lifecycle planning expertise, including Operating Systems (Windows, RHEL) and databases (MS SQL Server).
Proven experience leading transitions, hardware/software refresh initiatives, and technical debt reduction efforts.
Expertise in root cause analysis, structured problem solving, and decision-making.
Experience delivering presentations to executive stakeholders and engaging with multi-level management.
Key Deliverables
Chair monthly client engagement and governance calls, analyzing OS deployment data to produce actionable collateral.
Prepare internal and external governance materials and provide status updates, risks, and issues to ITOD/DCO/Client stakeholders (management, directors, cluster partners).
Support DCO financial teams with software support cost projections, cluster cost analysis, and developing new cost models.
Lead data analysis and cluster engagement for fiscal year ESU/ELS programs to reduce technical debt.
Key Responsibilities
Enhance the SRP client experience with data-driven reporting, communications, and process improvements to reduce software support costs.
Lead remediation of Windows Server 2016 devices to minimize ESU costs starting January 2027.
Coordinate SQL 2014/2016 ESU work, reducing Year 1 ESU charges starting July 2026.
Assist with sunsetting activities and lifecycle health view development for software.
Forecast support and technical debt costs, track/report KPIs, and document SRP operational processes.
Engage and manage stakeholders, drive process improvements, and maintain key cluster/stakeholder contacts.
Skills & Experience
Strategic Planning & Delivery (30%)
10+ years in strategic planning and delivery oversight.
Expertise in technical debt identification, lifecycle planning, governance, standards, and roadmap development.
Ability to align technology strategy with business and risk objectives.
Project Management & Reporting (20%)
Translate business requirements into reporting needs.
Stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and multi-level communication.
Risk and issue management experience.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills (10%)
Root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
Lead transition and hardware/software refresh initiatives.
Experience with change and asset management processes and tools.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills (10%)
Presentations to executives and strong client engagement.
Documentation, verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration.
Location & Hours: Onsite, standard working hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday at the OPS office location.
