À propos

Build something people love
Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We're the largest fintech company in Canada, with 3+ million users who trust us with more than $100 billion in assets. And we're just getting started.
We're looking for someone who thinks big, sweats the small stuff and keeps things simple. You'll join a high-bar, fast-paced team where people are trusted to own their work, communicate openly, and ship things that improve our clients' lives. Collaboration, humility, and an obsession over quality are how we get stuff done.
Be a part of our Canadian success story and help shape the financial future of millions. Read our Culture Manual and learn more about how we work.
About The Role
We're looking for a Manager, Performance Marketing to own and scale our client acquisition engine across paid channels. In this role, you'll lead strategy, execution, and optimization for performance marketing at Wealthsimple — partnering closely with Creative, Data Science, Product, and Brand. You'll focus on channel optimization, creative strategy, experimentation, and forecasting impact.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
Own channel strategy and performance across key paid UA channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, ASA, emerging platforms).
Continuously optimize channels: improve bidding, pacing, targeting, and efficiency levers to reduce CAC and drive net-new funded clients. You'll be in platform and look at performance data every day.
Lead creative strategy: you know how to build a high-performing creative engine — developing insights, briefs, and hypotheses that fuel fast, effective UGC and ad production that lifts CTR, CVR, and CAC.
Partner closely with Creative to iterate quickly on top-performing concepts, formats, and narratives.
Forecast and report performance, tying spend to client growth, LTV, and market conditions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DS, Lifecycle, and Analytics to build holistic acquisition journeys.
Contribute to long-term growth strategy, helping shape how Wealthsimple acquires clients across market cycles.
What you'll bring:
4–6+ years experience in growth or performance marketing; fintech, e-commerce, or consumer apps preferred.
Deep hands-on knowledge of paid UA channels and experimentation frameworks.
Analytical thinker who's comfortable with CAC/LTV modelling, incrementality, and diagnosing performance swings.
Creative and curious — you love testing new ideas, hooks, and ad formats.
Strong communicator who can turn data into simple, compelling narratives.
Scrappy, data-driven, and thrives in fast-moving environments.
Nice to Have:
Experience with financial products, high-trust categories, or regulated industries.
Familiarity with SQL.
Experience managing UGC programs or creator-driven ad pipelines.
Experience using AI for creative analysis or competitor research.
Comfort with Figma or AI tools to prototype ads.
Why Wealthsimple?

Long-term group savings with employer match using our Wealthsimple for Business platform

90 days away program: Employees can work outside of Canada for up to 90 days per calendar year
A wide variety of peer and company-led Employee Resources Groups (e.g., Rainbow, Women of Wealthsimple, Black @ WS)
We're a remote first team with over 1,500 employees across North America - and one of the best things about working here is the people. You'll be collaborating with incredibly talented, curious, and driven teammates who care deeply about doing great work.
