We are searching for a Software Developer Co-op

About the Role:  The Software Development Co-op will work closely with our team to improve the design and functionality of our mobile apps, process tracking system, and other web apps. All projects will be guided by a lean start-up model, where product development, testing, and analysis happen in rapid iterations. You will have a significant impact on our product and processes during a really exciting time for our company. This position is for students who are looking to have an involved and meaningful co-op term.

Key Responsibilities: We are a start-up, so you will be involved in a number of different projects and get exposed to a lot of different areas. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Identify opportunities to improve UI/UX of the mobile and web apps
• Modify and improve multiple code bases
• Collect and analyze business-related metrics for internal and external use
• Analyze mobile and website app data for opportunities and areas of improvement

Must Haves:

• Web development experience, or experience with web-related technologies;
  • JS, Typescript, CSS, HTML
  • Frameworks, Vue, Nuxt, React, Next, or Angular,
• Mobile development experience, IOS, Android, or a combination frameworks like Flutter/React Native
• Cloud Infrastructure Experience, GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, minimally structured environment
• Highly intuitive and curious
• Self-motivated and independent
• Highly adaptable and resourceful

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with AI Technologies: Building, Training, or Tuning models
• Experience with data analysis
  • Development of data pipelines from various sources
  • Curation and population of various data reports
  • Accurate and effective data visualization construction
• Experience with IAC technologies, Terraform, or similar
• C, Go, Rust and/or similar experience lower level languages
• UI/UX Experience and skill, portfolio expected & appreciated
• General knowledge of business activities in a variety of areas
• Interest in expanding your current realm of knowledge
