We're seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Analyst to support Engineering and Inventory Control initiatives and projects in a manufacturing environment. This contract role focuses on collecting, validating, and managing material data to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Physically measure materials and packaging (weights, dimensions) using metrology tools
Validate and update material master data in Excel and ERP systems
Clean and manage large datasets with high accuracy
Support BOM audits, packaging optimization, and inventory improvement projects
Communicate with suppliers to obtain and verify material specifications
Qualifications
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups, formulas)
Strong analytical and data management abilities
Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor
Ability to read basic engineering drawings (or willingness to learn)
ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferredComfort using measurement tools and standing for periods during data collection tasks.
