Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Manage inventory levels, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics operation.
- Manage tasks that involve lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
