Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Efficiently pick customer orders using scanning devices and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product protection and correct labeling.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate various warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, after proper certification.
- Participate actively in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and footwear.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics .
- Perform tasks requiring regular physical exertion and frequent Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics .
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and wear necessary PPE .
