We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics operation in Omaha, Nebraska! This role is fundamental to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting items from our warehouse inventory and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work with speed and precision are highly valued. You will be an essential part of our supply chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic, and possess a strong work ethic. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. - Retrieve items from warehouse locations according to order pick lists.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Package items appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing areas.
- Utilize scanning devices for inventory tracking.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as restocking or inventory checks.
