Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Follow all logistics and operational guidelines for material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel.
- Perform tasks that may involve lifting materials and operating machinery.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Must consistently wear appropriate PPE.
