We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our team in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving goods, organizing stock, fulfilling orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Accuracy and efficiency are key to success in this position, as you will contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Our logistics operations are complex, and we rely on our associates to maintain precise inventory records and manage stock effectively. Adherence to rigorous safety standards, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Accept, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately record inventory levels and update the WMS.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Prepare goods for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock in an orderly manner.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and utilize mandated PPE.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Engage in frequent lifting and moving of merchandise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar role.
- Proven ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting (up to 50-60 pounds).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced logistics setting.
