In this essential role, you will be responsible for meticulously picking items from our inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and attractively for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Process orders through our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on all orders before they are shipped.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and implement best practices.
- Use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Understand the importance of efficient logistics in meeting delivery promises.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, with frequent bending and reaching.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to your responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures is essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics concepts is beneficial.
