We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and materials. Your responsibilities will span across receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, making this a dynamic and hands-on position. You will ensure that inventory is managed accurately and efficiently, and that orders are fulfilled with precision. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including significant Lifting. You will work as part of a collaborative team, supporting our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications using RF scanners.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the efficiency of logistics and material handling.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including frequent Lifting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety. Understanding of logistics operations is beneficial. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
