Join our dedicated team as a Picker/Packer in Boise, Idaho! This role is essential for our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking products from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packaged securely and correctly. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. As part of our logistics operation, you'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction. We provide all necessary training and emphasize the importance of adhering to safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner and order pick list.
- Verify picked items against the order to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the fulfillment process within our logistics network.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any order discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
